Muruaga Olguin.

Gonzalo Muruaga Olguin (born 1985) is an Argentinian electric guitar player, composer and improviser. He graduate from La Colmena Conservatory (year 2011). He worked artistically on themes such as interdisciplinary art and innovation in TEC -Taller Experimental Creativo-(2009-2010). Later in 2012 he was invited to play in a World’s Guitar Festival in La Grotte, in Paris, France. Later in 2014 he participated in Sipoo Jazz Camp on a Workshop/Concert with Risto Vuorimies. In 2015 he started working in Creatividad en Movimiento, an organization of interdisciplinary arts focused in democratizing the art and promoting networking of local artists. He started, develop and directed the Department of Social Action. This lead to great experiences such as running a workshop of artistic project plan writing at UNSAM (Universidad Nacional de San Martin). He was an active musician at the Buenos Aires underground, experimental music and jazz scene. He has played and recorded with important musicians of the local scene and collaborated with artist collectives WarnesGroup (experimental art) and QuisoPinto (Free improvisation and noise music). In December 2017 he travelled to Europe, and organized and directed a free improvisation music concert ensemble at Kerava SinkkaMuseum, inspired by a graffiti exposition made by Caludia“MadC” Walde. During the same month he recorded a duo album called Towards The Colliding Point in Ireland with Miguel Crozzolion saxophone. In 2020 Eclipse records is releasing his trio Album in Finland. At the moment he is focusing mainly in composing and performing. He is an active musician at the Helsinki artistic scene. His musical approach combines elements of jazz, free improvisation, experimental music, sound investigation and interdisciplinary cooperation.
